TRIANGLES AND MORE TRIANGLES

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY…I don’t know about yall but this was a very weird 4th… there were lots of personal fireworks that we could see from our lanai across the river and in fact they all appeared to have spent way more on them than usual…and lots more of them too. I can only assume that this was due to no places nearby that were shooting public fireworks Still on the positive side ( I do keep looking for positives) it was quieter than before more color and less of the just loud noises… I always wonder who spends money to just get a loud noise…still hope you are all staying well , wearing your masks and looking on the bright side. Below are some cards for you to play with in your “stay” time.

TRIANGLE TRI FOLD CARD

This is an interesting triangle card and It can be madden different sizes…the one on the right is using the 12” paper and that is the link I gave you which is also a split coast stampers video . I find that it works best with card stock that is not too heavy…and in the case of the flamingos it was not a duplex paper…which I am sure you know is hard to find. the SEAHAWK green is light weight duplex paper …  and because of the design on both the flamingo paper inside and outside it means that it will only be right side up one way but inside its running vertical because the paper has an up and down pattern… if you want to use pattern paper you would be better off to find an over all pattern…not and up and down.  check it out its pretty fun and when you cut your 12” paper you will get two or even 3 pieces to make the cards…

this is what it looks like folded

this is half unfolded

Ok if you are till confused checkout the video link above  or the one below

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TdPjj_UjwBE

this one is a UK version and its a bit long but basically the same as the above cards but with a slight twist or rather an extension …its using two cards folded together which makes it slightly longer but it will still fit in like a 5×7 envy…and its a little different..

These are two of my favorite pens… the top one is pretty knew and from John Neal Bookseller  and its called the Brody pen.…which is an update on the ruling pen it has a wide edge as we’ll as a medium edge and the of course you put it up on the tip to a fine line for moonlike writing or to create a thick and thin type letter..

the bottom one is an antique I think I found it in and antique store and its an OLD RULING PEN… the screw on the side opens and closes the tip to allow for ink flow with heavy inks and watery ink.  It’s defiantly a moonlike writing pen so I use it with my AKIM…and other monolines…
